BCE10-S30-VP6X Description
Turck BCE10-S30-VP6X is a capacitive proximity sensor belonging to the BC...-S30 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor is constructed with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) housing and sensing face, and features a PVC cable jacket. It connects via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cable with bare end flying leads. The sensor's shape is an M30 partially threaded barrel, offering an IP65 degree of protection. It has a maximum switching frequency of 50Hz and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -10°C to +60°C. The BCE10-S30-VP6X provides one digital output (10-30Vdc; PNP; 100mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Its sensing distance is 10mm. Protection functions include short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The thread size is M30, and it offers operating modes of NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed) complementary outputs.
