Telemecanique XCSTA791 is a safety limit switch within the XCSTA sub-range, designed with key safety switch functionality and featuring a break before make/slow break mechanism. It is constructed from Polyamide PA66 for both the head and body, ensuring durability. This switch offers a connection type of Pg 11 with two no 11 cable entries and is rated for an impulse voltage (Uimp) of 4 kV. It provides a high degree of protection at IP67, capable of withstanding 1,000,000 mechanical operations without load and 5,000,000 electrical operations with load at 240Vac/250Vdc. The XCSTA791 includes 3 poles, with 1 Normally Open (NO) auxiliary contact and 2 Normally Closed (NC) auxiliary contacts. It is rated for an insulation voltage (Ui) of 400 V (UL) and 300 V, with a control circuit rated current of 3 A at 240Vac (AC-15 and A300). This switch operates effectively within a temperature range of -25°C to 70°C.
