PULS CP5.241 is a power supply unit designed for DIN rail mounting with a net width of 32 mm and an aluminium housing. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C. The unit features a current consumption of 7A peak max. inrush at both 230Vac and 120Vac inputs. Its efficiency rates are 0.943 at 230Vac input, 0.935 at 120Vac input, and 0.927 at 100Vac input. The dimensions of the CP5.241 are W32mm x H124mm x D102mm. It has a start-up delay of 380-420ms for 100-230Vac input, with rise times of 80ms and 100ms under nominal input with constant full current load at 0mF and 5mF load capacitance, respectively. The unit includes protection functions such as output overvoltage protection and overload/short-circuit protection, with the capability for series or parallel operation for increased output voltages or power. It is resistant to back-feeding loads up to 35V. Power dissipation/losses are 7.3 W at 230Vac input and 8.2 W at 120Vac input with full output load. The output stage capacitance is 1800 µF. Electrical durability varies with conditions, reaching up to 775000 hours at 25°C and 2.5A output with 1AC 230Vac input. The ripple is 50mVpp across 20Hz to 20MHz at 50Ω. This AC/DC power supply unit, part of the CP-series, is designed with a 20% power reserve and includes a DC-OK relay contact output. It features screw-clamp connections and supports a supply voltage range of 85Vac-264Vac for AC and 110Vdc-180Vdc for DC, with a rated current of 5A at 24Vdc. The output voltage is adjustable between 24Vdc and 28Vdc, with a 200mV turn-ON overshoot and a hold time of 35ms at 120/230Vac input.
