Pilz PILZ-787140 is a safety relay designed for single or dual-channel operation with capabilities for safety gate, instantaneous E-STOP, limit switch, and light beam device monitoring of type 2 and type 4. It supports monitored manual reset and is suitable for DIN rail mounting. The operating ambient air temperature range is -10 to +55 °C. This model has a net height of 101 mm, a rated current for safety output contacts of 6A at 24Vdc (DC-1) and 240Vac (AC-1), 4A at 24Vdc (DC-13), and 3A at 230Vac (AC-15). Connection is facilitated through plug-in/detachable spring terminal connections. Part of the PNOZ X2.9P sub-range, it measures 22.5mm in width, with a degree of protection of IP40, and requires a supply voltage of 20.4-26.4Vdc (24Vdc nominal). The housing is made of PPO with an ABS front, and it has a net width of 22.5 mm and a depth of 121 mm. Power consumption is 2 W. It operates in single-channel without redundancy, detecting earth faults in the start and input circuit, or in dual-channel mode without detection of shorts across contacts but with redundant input circuit. It features automatic, manual, and monitored start modes. The relay can increase the number of available contacts by connecting to contact expansion modules or external contactors/relays. It has 3 x instantaneous safety outputs (3NO) and 1 x instantaneous auxiliary output (1NC), along with 2 x digital inputs and 1 x start input.
