Pilz PILZ-773825 is a Safety I/O unit designed for DIN rail mounting, compatible with both 35mmx7.5mm top hat and 27mm recess width rails. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C and features a net height of 94 mm. This unit is specifically designed for incremental encoders (sin/cos; TTL) and offers various connection types including screw terminal connections, spring-loaded terminal connections, and an 8-pin RJ45 female connector for incremental encoders, with stripping lengths of 7mm for screw connections and 9mm for spring-loaded connections. As part of the Safe I/O module sub-range, it has an IP20 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 20.4-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) or 4.9-5.1Vdc (5Vdc nominal; module supply via base unit). The input frequency range for incremental encoders is 0-200kHz, with monitoring frequencies ranging from 0.1-200kHz without hysteresis and 0.2-200kHz with hysteresis. The unit's housing is made from PPO for the bottom and ABS for the front, measuring 45 mm in width and 121 mm in depth. It supports the RS-422 communication protocol and accommodates wire cross-sections from 0.25 to 1.5mm2 / 24AWG to 16AWG for single-core flexible wires with screw terminals, and similar ranges for spring-loaded terminals.
