It operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +60°C and features a net height of 94 mm. This unit is specifically designed for use with incremental encoders, supporting sin/cos, HTL, and TTL signals. It offers various connection types, including screw terminal connections, spring-loaded terminal connections, and an 8-pin RJ45 female connector for incremental encoders, with stripping lengths of 7mm for screw connections and 9mm for spring-loaded connections. As part of the Safe I/O module sub-range, it has an IP20 degree of protection and requires a supply voltage of 20.4-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) or 4.9-5.1Vdc (5Vdc nominal; module supply via base unit). The unit supports a frequency input range of 0-200kHz for incremental encoders and offers monitoring frequencies without and with hysteresis. Constructed with a PPO bottom housing and ABS front housing, it measures 45 mm in width and 121 mm in depth.
