Pilz PILZ-773538 is a Safety I/O unit designed as a virtual I/O safety expansion module capable of handling short-term condensation during operation. It is mounted using DIN rail mounting compatible with both 35mmx7.5mm top hat and 27mm recess width rails. This unit operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +60°C and has a net height of 94 mm. The design is a coated version featuring both screw terminal connections and spring-loaded terminal connections, with stripping lengths of 7mm for screw connections and 9mm for spring-loaded connections, supporting a cross-section range of 0.25 to 1.5mm2 for 1-core flexible with screw terminals, and 0.25 to 0.75mm2 for 2-cores with the same cross-section, flexible with crimp connectors or with TWIN crimp connectors for screw terminals. Additionally, it accommodates 0.25 to 1.5mm2 for 1-core flexible without crimp connector and 0.25 to 0.75mm2 for 1-core flexible with crimp connector for spring-loaded terminals. The unit's net width and depth are 22.5 mm and 121 mm, respectively, and it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C. It features 32 digital outputs and 32 digital inputs, both virtual, with a rated insulation voltage of 30 V. The supply voltage requirement is 20.4-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The housing is made from PPO for the bottom and ABS for the front, ensuring compatibility with a degree of protection of IP20. The processing time is a maximum data transmission time of 35 ms, with a time delay of 5s for switch-on and 20ms for supply interruption before de-energization.
