Panasonic PM-R65-P is a compact U-shaped (fork or T-Type) photoelectric sensor designed for precise object detection with a 5mm passageway. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 1m 4-core 0.09mm2 cabtyre cable that terminates with bare flying leads. This sensor features a sensing distance of 5mm and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 940 nm for detection. It offers two digital outputs: one NPN open-collector for Light-ON and another for Dark-ON, both supporting 24Vdc at 50mA. The PM-R65-P has a rapid response time of 100µs (0.0001 s) and includes an orange LED for visual position indication. Its current consumption is 15mA (0.015 A), and it can detect objects as small as 0.8x1.8mm.
