Festo SDBT-MSX-1L-NU-E-2.5-N-LE Festo SDBT-MSX-1L-NU-E-2.5-N-LE is a magnetic Hall proximity/position binary sensor designed for automatic teach-in/programmable applications, suitable for energy chains and robot applications. This sensor is part of the SDBT-MSX series and features a reinforced PA and high-alloy stainless steel housing with a TPE-U/PUR cable in black and gray, respectively. It is pre-wired with a 2.5m 3-core cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using a screw-type mount. It is designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP68. The sensor has a T-slot shape and includes 1 x digital output (switchable NPN; 100mA) with a maximum output switching frequency of 200Hz. It is equipped with protection functions against short-circuit, overload, and reverse polarity for all electrical connections. The response time for switching is 2ms (OFF>ON) / 2ms (ON>OFF), and it operates in a switchable mode (NO/NC) with a maximum travel speed of 3m/s.
