Banner Engineering VS3RP5XLP is a polarized (coaxial) photo-electric sensor designed with a thermoplastic housing, glass lens, and acrylic lid cover. It operates in a retro-reflective mode with a visible red light wavelength of 680 nm. This sensor features a sensing distance of 250mm and is equipped with a single digital output (PNP transistor). It has a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s and operates in a Dark-ON NC (Normally Closed) mode. The VS3RP5XLP is designed for a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C. It offers a high degree of protection with an IP67 NEMA 6 rating. The sensor is connected via a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads and is part of the VS3 series. Its rectangular shape is specifically designed for various automation applications.
