Banner Engineering VS2RP5RQ is a photo-electric sensor designed with a thermoplastic housing MABS lns. and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for various industrial environments. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and features a dark-ON NC (Normally Closed) operating mode. This sensor includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) and boasts a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s for ON and 0.5ms / 0.0005 s for OFF. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector, ensuring easy installation. The rectangular-shaped sensor operates at a wavelength of 940 nm, emitting infrared (IR) light, and requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.).
