TM18VP6R Description
Banner Engineering TM18VP6R is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the TM18 series. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in nickel-plated die-cast zinc with a polycarbonate lens. It features a pre-wired connection with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The TM18VP6R operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and offers a threaded mount for installation. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is protected to IP67 NEMA 6 standards. The sensor has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor), and provides a sensing distance of up to 20m. It emits visible red light and has a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s, with operating modes that include Light-ON and Dark-ON. The thread size for mounting is M18.
