TM18RP6RQ8 Description
Banner Engineering TM18RP6RQ8 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the TM18 series. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a nickel-plated die-cast zinc with a polycarbonate lens. It features a pre-equipped 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The TM18RP6RQ8 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. The sensor provides one digital output via a PNP transistor and has a sensing distance of up to 20 meters. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm and responds within 1.5ms. The operating mode is Dark-ON, and it features an M18 thread size for mounting.
