T8RN6RQ Description

Banner Engineering T8RN6RQ is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the T8 series. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-wired 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C. The T8RN6RQ offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. Its M8 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. The sensor provides one digital output via an NPN transistor and has a sensing distance of up to 2 meters. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm and responds in 1ms (0.001 s), operating in a Dark-ON NC (Normally Closed) mode. The thread size for mounting is M8.
