T8RN6R Description
Banner Engineering T8RN6R is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the T8 series, featuring a through-beam system in an opposed mode configuration. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens. It is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connection. The T8RN6R operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. The sensor has an M8 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape for easy installation. It features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor), a sensing distance of up to 2m, and emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm. The T8RN6R has a fast response time of 1ms / 0.001 s and operates in a Dark-ON NC (Normally Closed) mode. The thread size for mounting is M8.
