T18RW3R Description
Banner Engineering T18RW3R is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the T18 series. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic with a polycarbonate lens. It features a cylindrical shape with an M18 threaded mount and a diameter of 40mm. The connection is facilitated by a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage ranging from 20Vac to 250Vac, with nominal voltages at 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac. The T18RW3R can operate in ambient air temperatures from -40 to +70 degrees Celsius and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P. It has a single digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type), a sensing distance of up to 20m, and operates with infrared light at a wavelength of 950 nm. The sensor's response time is 16ms for turning on and 8ms for turning off, and it operates in a Dark-ON mode.
