T18AW3R Description
Banner Engineering T18AW3R is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the T18 series, featuring a through-beam system in an opposed mode configuration. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic with a polycarbonate lens. It has a diameter of 40mm and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The T18AW3R operates on a supply voltage ranging from 20Vac to 250Vac, with nominal voltages at 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac. It is designed for threaded mount installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, indicating a high level of protection against dust, water, and other environmental factors. Its shape is an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it features 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) with a sensing distance of up to 20m. The T18AW3R utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 950 nm and has a response time of 16ms for turning on and 8ms for turning off. Its operating mode is Light-ON.
