T18AW3L Description
Banner Engineering T18AW3L is a photo-electric sensor from the T18 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape. It is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The T18AW3L operates on a supply voltage range of 20Vac-250Vac (with 200Vac / 220Vac / 240Vac nominal values) and can be mounted using a threaded mount. It is designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P. This sensor has a diameter of 40mm and includes 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) with a sensing distance of 2m. It operates in a Light-ON mode, has a response time of 16ms / 0.016 s, and uses infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 950 nm.
