SMA30PELQ5 Description
Banner Engineering SMA30PELQ5 is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the SM30 series, featuring a through-beam system in an opposed mode configuration. This sensor functions as an emitter alone, housed in a thermoplastic material. It comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The SMA30PELQ5 operates on a supply voltage range of 12Vac-240Vac (with 200Vac / 220Vac nominal) and 10Vdc-30Vdc (with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal), making it versatile for various power supply configurations. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. This sensor offers a high degree of protection with an IP67 NEMA 6P rating, ensuring durability in harsh environments. Its M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. The SMA30PELQ5 boasts a sensing distance of up to 150 meters and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm for detection. It has a rapid response time of 10ms / 0.01 s.
