SM30SRLE Description
Banner Engineering SM30SRLE is a photo-electric sensor within the SM30 series, designed with a through-beam system or opposed mode "A" modulation frequency. This sensor features a photo-electric array consisting of an emitter and receiver pair, housed in stainless steel. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The SM30SRLE operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It is rated with a degree of protection IP67 NEMA 6P, indicating a high level of protection against dust and water ingress. The sensor has a cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with an M30 thread size. It offers one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), capable of sensing distances up to 150m. The light emitted is in the infrared (IR) spectrum, with a wavelength of 880 nm, and it has a response time of 10ms / 0.01 s. The operating modes available are Light-ON and Dark-ON.
