SM30SN6R Description
Banner Engineering SM30SN6R is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the SM30 series, featuring a through-beam system in an opposed mode configuration. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The SM30SN6R operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P. The sensor features a M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor), and provides a sensing distance of up to 60m. It operates with infrared light, having a wavelength of 880 nm, and offers a response time of 3ms / 0.003 s. The operating modes available are Light-ON and Dark-ON, and it has a thread size of M30.
