Banner Engineering SM2A31RPDQDP is a photo-electric sensor designed for clear plastic detection, part of the SM2A312 series. This sensor operates as the receiver in a through-beam system with opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. It features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. The sensor is pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 3-pin 1/2" micro connector. It supports a supply voltage range of 24Vac to 240Vac, with nominal voltages of 200Vac and 220Vac. For mounting, it utilizes an M18 threaded mount. The SM2A31RPDQDP can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70 degrees Celsius and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) with a sensing distance of 300mm. The sensor uses infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm and has a response time of 2ms (0.002 seconds).
