Banner SM2A312LVAG Banner Engineering SM2A312LVAG is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The supply voltage required for operation ranges from 24Vac to 240Vac, with nominal voltages at 200Vac and 220Vac. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SM2A312LVAG offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) and can detect objects within a sensing distance of 5cm to 2m. The sensor emits visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and responds within 4ms / 0.004 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
