SM2A312LP-19898 Description
Banner Engineering SM2A312LP-19898 is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. It features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -20 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, NEMA 12, and NEMA 13. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type), with a sensing distance of 3m. It utilizes infrared (IR) light with a response time of 4ms / 0.004 s and a wavelength of 880 nm.
