SM2A312L Description
Banner Engineering SM2A312L is a photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The supply voltage required for operation ranges from 24Vac to 240Vac, with nominal values at 200Vac / 220Vac. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SM2A312L offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, NEMA 12, and NEMA 13. Its shape is rectangular, and it includes 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) with a sensing distance of 5m. The sensor utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm and has a response time of 4ms / 0.004 s.
