SM2A312FPQDP Description
Banner Engineering SM2A312FPQDP is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor within the SM2A312 series, designed with a potentiometer adjustment for plastic fiber. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 3-pin 1/2" micro connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SM2A312FPQDP offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, making it suitable for a variety of environmental conditions. It has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type). The sensor emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and has a response time of 4ms / 0.004 s.
