SM2A312D W/15 Description
Banner Engineering SM2A312D W/15 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series, designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 15ft / 4.5m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The sensor is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, NEMA 12, and NEMA 13. It has a rectangular shape, one digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type), a sensing distance of 380mm, and uses infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm. The response time of the sensor is 8ms / 0.008 s.
