SM2A312C Description
Banner Engineering SM2A312C is a photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series, designed with a convergent mode potentiometer adjustment and "C" modulation frequency. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The SM2A312C operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. It has a rectangular shape, one digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type), a sensing distance of 16mm, and uses infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm. The response time of this sensor is 4ms / 0.004 s.
