SM2A30PRLC Description
Banner Engineering SM2A30PRLC is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the SM30 series. This sensor operates as the receiver in an opposed mode "C" modulation frequency system, specifically engineered for washdown environments. It features a durable thermoplastic housing and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The sensor is designed to work within a supply voltage range of 24Vac to 240Vac, with nominal voltages at 200Vac and 220Vac. It can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C. The SM2A30PRLC offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, NEMA 6P, and IP69K, making it suitable for harsh conditions. Its M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. The sensor provides one digital output (Solid-state AC output) and has a sensing distance of up to 150 meters. It utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 880 nm and has a quick response time of 10ms / 0.01 s. The operating mode for this sensor is Light-ON.
