SLSE30-450Q8 Description
Banner Engineering SLSE30-450Q8 is a safety light curtain from the 14/30 series designed for hand detection with a resolution of 30mm. This emitter alone unit features an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. It is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The protective height of the device is 450mm, and it comes in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. The SLSE30-450Q8 offers an IP65 degree of protection against dust and water ingress. Its dimensions include a net width of 36mm, a net height of 522mm, and a net depth of 46mm. The light curtain features a 30mm beam spacing/pitch and provides two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) for signaling. It has a sensing distance range from 10cm to 18m and uses infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The response time of the device is 13ms / 0.013 s.
