SLPP14-550 Description
Banner Engineering SLPP14-550, part of the LP Low-Profile series, is a safety light curtain designed for finger detection with a resolution of 14mm. This unit, featuring an emitter and receiver pair, is housed in aluminum with acrylic lens and zinc end caps, ensuring durability. It offers a protective height of 550mm and operates with a supply voltage of 24Vdc. The SLPP14-550 operates efficiently within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and is rated IP65 for protection against dust and water ingress. Its compact dimensions include a net width of 28mm, height of 549mm, and depth of 26mm, with a yellow housing for visibility. The safety light curtain provides a sensing distance from 10cm up to 7m and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 850nm. It features two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and one digital output (24Vdc; 250mA; PNP transistor) for fault indication, alongside one digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc; 30mA) for EDM and one digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc) for reset functions. The response time is recorded at 16.5ms, and it includes an Integral Removable Disconnect (RD) connection type for ease of installation and maintenance.
