SLPE14-550P8 Description
Banner Engineering SLPE14-550P8 is a safety light curtain from the LP Low-Profile series designed for finger detection with a resolution of 14mm. This unit, functioning as an emitter alone, is housed in aluminum with an acrylic lens and zinc end caps. It features a pre-wired 300mm pigtail terminated with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The protective height of the device is 550mm, and it comes in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. The SLPE14-550P8 offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 and has dimensions of 28mm in width, 549mm in height, and 26mm in depth. It is equipped with 2 x digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and 1 x digital output (24Vdc; 250mA; PNP transistor) for FAULT indication. The sensing distance ranges from 10cm to 7m, and it utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The response time of the device is 16.5ms.
