Banner Engineering SBED is a photo-electric sensor designed with a through-beam system for high-speed detection and features a narrow beam. It operates as a scanner block emitter alone, housed in a reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate (P.B.T.) casing. This sensor is capable of functioning within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at NEMA 1, NEMA 3, NEMA 12, and NEMA 13. The SBED has a rectangular shape and is capable of sensing objects up to a distance of 10ft (3m) with an infrared light color. It has a quick response time of 1ms (0.001 s) and operates at a wavelength of 880 nm.
