R70SR9MQ Description
Banner Engineering R70SR9MQ is a gateway designed for snap signal serial data radio applications. It features surface mounting mode and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C. The design incorporates 2 x bi-color LEDs, an internal antenna, and utilizes FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology for enhanced communication security. It connects via a 5-pin M12 male connector and falls under the Serial data radios sub-range. The dimensions of this rectangular-shaped device are H87.1mm x W70mm x D70mm, and it is protected by an IP65-rated polycarbonate housing and cover. The R70SR9MQ operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc (12Vdc-24Vdc nom.) and communicates over the 900MHz ISM band with a 500mW power output. It supports the RS-485 Modbus RTU communication protocol and can achieve a maximum transmission distance of 1.6km with its internal antenna, at nominal emission power. The device's visual position indicator is facilitated by red/green LEDs indicating radio status, and it transmits at a frequency of 900 MHz.
