Banner Engineering QS18VN6LAFQ5 is an adjustable-field Class 1 laser photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50°C and features a background suppression system with screw adjustment for fine-tuning. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector, aligning with the QS18..AF mechanically adjustable background suppression series. It boasts an IP67 and NEMA 6 degree of protection, ensuring durability in various environments. The supply voltage requirement is 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, supporting a sensing distance of 30 to 150mm. The sensor emits a visible red light at a wavelength of 650 nm and offers both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) and features a rapid response time of 0.7ms (0.0007 seconds).
