QCM50-K3D25-Q8-5 Description
Banner Engineering QCM50-K3D25-Q8-5 is a high-performance color sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring color differentiation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C and features a TEACH mode capable of distinguishing up to 7 colors, even in environments with glare. This sensor is part of the QCM50 series and is equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy integration. It has a compact, rectangular shape with dimensions tailored for a 6x6mm spot, ensuring precise sensing performance. The sensor is housed in die-cast zinc with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens and a matte chrome-plated coating, offering robust protection with an IP67 and IP69K degree of protection against dust and water ingress. It requires a supply voltage of 18Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The QCM50-K3D25-Q8-5 supports IO-Link communication protocol for advanced connectivity and configuration options. It has a sensing distance of 18 to 32mm and utilizes visible white light for detection. The operating modes include Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC), and it features 3 digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) for versatile signaling options.
