Q4XTULAF100-Q8 Description
Banner Engineering Q4XTULAF100-Q8 is a Class 1 laser adjustable-field photo-electric sensor/transmitter designed for precise sensing tasks. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50 °C. This sensor is equipped with a background/foreground suppression system that can be adjusted via TEACH mode, ensuring accurate detection by ignoring irrelevant background objects. It connects through a pre-equipped 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector, fitting seamlessly into existing setups. Part of the Q4X series, it boasts a high degree of protection rated at IP67, IP68, and IP69K, making it suitable for harsh environments and offering resistance to various chemicals. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and is housed in durable stainless steel with an acrylic LED window. It has a sensing distance range of 25 to 100mm and emits a visible class 1 red laser light with a wavelength of 655 nm for precise targeting. Additionally, it includes protection functions against overload and short-circuit conditions and provides 1 x analog output (0-10Vdc) for versatile connectivity.
