Banner Engineering Q45BB6FP is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor designed for versatility and durability in industrial environments. This sensor, part of the Q45BB6 series, features a rectangular shape with an M30 threaded mount for secure installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C, ensuring functionality in a wide range of conditions. The sensor is equipped with a potentiometer adjustment for precise control and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. It boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P, indicating a high level of protection against dust and water ingress. The Q45BB6FP operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and is housed in a thermoplastic housing with plastic fiber. It emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm for detection purposes. Additionally, it features 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and offers a rapid response time of 2ms / 0.002 s, facilitating quick and efficient operation.
