Q45AD9LV Description
Banner Engineering Q45AD9LV is an intrinsically-safe photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor features a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment and is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy installation. It is part of the Q45AD9 series and offers a sensing distance of up to 9 meters. The Q45AD9LV operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens, ensuring durability. It has a rectangular shape and utilizes an M30 threaded mount for secure attachment. This sensor provides a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P, making it suitable for harsh environments. It operates on a supply voltage of 5Vdc to 15Vdc, with 12Vdc nominal, and features a visible red light with a wavelength of 680 nm. The Q45AD9LV supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, includes 1 x digital output (NAMUR), and boasts a quick response time of 5ms / 0.005 s.
