Q120RA-US-AF2 Description

Banner Engineering Q120RA-US-AF2 is a narrow-beam adjustable-field radar sensor designed with a time-of-flight system and is US / Brazil Telecom-approved. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +65°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. As part of the Q120RA-AF series, this sensor features an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. It requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc being nominal. The sensor's shape is rectangular, and it utilizes a 24.075GHz to 24.175GHz (ISM band) transmission frequency. Constructed with an ABS / Polycarbonate (PC) housing, it ensures durability. The sensing distance ranges from 3.5m to 40m, and it offers operating modes of NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed). Additionally, it includes 2 x digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) and is equipped with protection functions against reverse polarity and short-circuit issues.
