Banner Engineering Q120RA-EU-AF2Q is a narrow-beam adjustable-field radar sensor designed for a variety of applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +65°C and features a time-of-flight system that is approved for use in Europe, the UK, Australia, New Zealand, China, and Japan. This sensor is equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. As part of the Q120RA-AF series, it offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for harsh environments. The sensor requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. It has a rectangular shape and is constructed from ABS/Polycarbonate (PC) housing for durability. The Q120RA-EU-AF2Q operates on a 24.050GHz to 24.250GHz transmission frequency within the ISM band and can detect objects within a 2 to 40m sensing distance. It supports both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) operating modes and includes 2 digital outputs (PNP/NPN transistor) for versatile connectivity. Additionally, it features protection functions against reverse polarity and short-circuit incidents.
