Q106EQ Description
Banner Engineering Q106EQ is a photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks, functioning as an emitter within a through-beam system or opposed mode setup. This sensor is compatible with flat or stand-off mounting options, ensuring versatility in installation. It operates effectively within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C, making it suitable for a wide variety of environments. The Q106EQ is part of the Q10 series and comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector for straightforward connectivity. It boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P, indicating a high level of resistance to dust and water ingress. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with a glass lens, ensuring durability. The Q106EQ offers a sensing distance of up to 1.8 meters and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm for detection. It features a rapid response time of 8ms (0.008 seconds), facilitating efficient operation in various applications.
