PVD225Q W/6IN-13818 Description
Banner Engineering PVD225Q W/6IN-13818 is a photo-electric array sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring diffuse or retro-reflective sensing modes. It operates within an ambient air temperature of up to +50°C and features a net height of 15 mm. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 5-pin M12 connector, facilitating easy installation. The device spans 225mm in array length and is encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic clear window, ensuring durability and clear signal transmission. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP62 NEMA 2 and requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The rectangular-shaped sensor has a net width of 30 mm and a net depth of 267 mm. It is capable of sensing distances up to 2m in retro-reflective mode and 400mm in diffuse mode. The sensor emits light in green and red colors, with a wavelength of 525 nm and 625 nm respectively, and features a 28.6mm beam spacing/pitch. It supports both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) with a current consumption of 88mA / 0.088 A.
