PVD225Q-84877 Description

Banner Engineering PVD225Q-84877 is a photo-electric array sensor designed for a variety of sensing applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature of up to +50°C and features a net height of 15 mm. This sensor supports both diffuse and retro-reflective sensing modes and comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PUR pigtail cable that terminates with a 5-pin M12 connector. The dimensions include a 225mm array length, with a net width of 30 mm and a net depth of 267 mm, housed in an aluminium frame with an acrylic clear window and a polyurethane cable sheath. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP62 NEMA 2 and requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The sensing distance reaches up to 2m in retro-reflective mode and 400mm in diffuse mode. The sensor emits light in green and red colors, with wavelengths of 525 nm and 625 nm, respectively. It features a rectangular shape and provides digital outputs through 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), supporting both NO (Normally Open) and NC (Normally Closed) operating modes.
