PVA100N6 Description
Banner Engineering PVA100N6 is a photo-electric array sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature of up to +50°C and features a net height of 15 mm. It comes pre-wired with a 2m pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin M12 connector for easy installation. The dimensions of the sensor include a 100mm array length, a net width of 30 mm, and a net depth of 138 mm, housed in a durable aluminium casing with an acrylic window. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP62 NEMA 2, ensuring protection against dust and water ingress. The PVA100N6 operates on a supply voltage range of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a rectangular shape. It is capable of sensing objects up to 2m away with a 25mm beam spacing/pitch and emits a green light for detection. The operating modes include Light-ON, Dark-ON, Normally Open (NO), and Normally Closed (NC), with one digital output (NPN transistor) and a current consumption of 62mA or 0.062 A.
