Banner Engineering PIT46UM3-VL is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode pair of individual fibers for in-line sensing. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. It has a 1mm fiber core diameter and comes with a 6ft / 2m length. The design includes a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip made of stainless steel for the sensing end, while the fiber is encased in a plastic fiber sheath made of Polyethylene (PE), ensuring compatibility with a variety of industrial environments.
