Banner Engineering PIT46UHFM3-8M.75 is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as an opposed mode pair of individual fibers with in-line sensing suitable for high-temperature environments. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +105°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and features a 1mm fiber core diameter. The design includes a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip made of stainless steel with a plastic fiber body and a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath for enhanced durability. The total length of the sensor is 6 feet (approximately 2 meters), facilitating versatile installation options.
