Banner Engineering PIT43UM3-VL is a fiber optic sensor designed for in-line sensing with a through-beam system or opposed mode pair of individual fibers. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and features a 1mm fiber core diameter. The design includes a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip made of nickel-plated brass for the sensing end, with the fiber itself being plastic and the sheath composed of polyethylene (PE). The total length of the fiber is 3ft / 1m, facilitating versatile installation options.
