PIT26UHF Description
Banner Engineering PIT26UHF is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, specifically as an opposed mode pair of individual fibers with in-line sensing suitable for high-temperature environments. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +105°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and features a 1mm fiber core diameter. The design includes a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip made of stainless steel for the sensing end, with the fiber encased in a plastic fiber and polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath for durability. The total length of the sensor is 1.33ft or 405mm, accommodating various installation requirements.
