Banner Engineering PIRS1X166UMX1 is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as an opposed mode pair of individual fibers with side/right-angled sensing. It features a 0.25mm fiber core diameter and is part of the Plastic fiber series. The sensor has a rectangular shape with a zinc alloy sensing end and a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath. It is built to operate in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C. The fibers have a length of 6ft / 2m, accommodating various installation requirements.
